How it works
Assumptions you can see, and change.
Continuity is a planning instrument, not a prediction. Every figure is traceable to something you told us or an assumption we show you.
- 01
You describe what you know today
A live workspace follows who supports them today, when the plan should work beyond one caregiver, costs, benefits and what's already in place — and your estimate updates as you answer. “I don't know yet” is a valid answer everywhere.
- 02
We estimate lifetime support
Each support area becomes an annual figure — yours where you gave one, ours where you didn't — carried across the years in your plan, in today's dollars.
- 03
We subtract what may already be covered
Confirmed programs, expected income and existing resources reduce the estimate. Where eligibility is unknown, we never count it as funding; we mark it as something to investigate.
- 04
You see where the plan is vulnerable
Findings explain the issue, why it matters, what information is missing, and one action that could reduce the risk. No score, no ranking, no pressure.
What we label, and why
- Known
- Information you supplied.
- Estimated
- Calculated using an assumption you can open and edit.
- Unknown
- Something we don't have yet. Unknown benefits eligibility is never counted as funding.
